SMS opt-in: what clients see
The exact consent language a client sees when they agree to receive text messages from a clinic that uses Kindra. This page is published so carriers and messaging campaign reviewers can verify the opt-in.

Kindra is client and practice software used by wellness and thermography clinics. Text messages are sent by the individual clinic a person is a client of; Kindra provides the software. Clients opt in in one of three ways, always with the disclosures shown below. Phone numbers are provided directly by the client to their clinic and are never purchased, rented, or shared.
1. On intake and booking paperwork
Clinic intake and booking forms (paper and digital) include an unchecked consent box the client must actively check:
Sample of the consent block as it appears on clinic forms. The checkbox above is an illustration, not a live form; each clinic's own form shows its clinic name.
2. Verbally, when booking by phone or in person
When a client books over the phone or at the front desk, clinic staff use this script and record the answer on the client's record:
"Would you like to receive appointment reminder and follow-up text messages from [Clinic Name]? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop them, or HELP for help. Saying no will not affect your appointment or care."
3. In the client's private portal
Clinics can give each client a private portal link where the client can turn text and email reminders on or off themselves at any time. The portal shows the same disclosures before texts are enabled.
What the messages look like
Messages are service and appointment related only, always identify the clinic, and always carry opt-out instructions. A typical message:
Clinics do not use Kindra to send unrelated marketing.
Opting out
Clients can reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from that clinic, reply HELP for help, turn texts off in their portal, or simply ask their clinic. Full details are in the Communications & SMS Policy. Mobile opt-in and consent information is never shared with third parties; see the Privacy Policy.
